Over the years I have cultivated my obsession with burgers into a review to keep track of what I like about each joint.
Exerpt:
“As an avid Instagram-er I was keen to try the famous Chur Burger… I was met with disappointment. The meat tasted charred and the tomato jam was too salty, smothered in overpowering sauce. The bread fell apart – not in a good way. The chips had too much chilli salt which became overwhelming after a while and the aioli was very garlicky. In the end I just felt seriously ill.
With this kind of food, the first bite is amazing. The more you have the more overwhelming the intense flavour becomes until you make yourself sick.
The burger joint needs to find a better balance of flavour and then will live up to the reputation.”
